Sam Klepfish / CEO of Innovative Food Holdings and Subs, Director
Mr. Klepfish is the CEO of Innovative Food Holdings and its subsidiaries. He joined Innovative Food Holdings as a Board Member in 2005 and was named interim President in 2006 and CEO in 2007. Before joining Innovative Food Holdings Mr. Klepfish was a partner at ISG Capital, a merchant bank. Prior to that Mr. Klepfish was an analyst at Phillips Nizer, a highly regarded NY based law firm. At Phillips Nizer, Mr. Klepfish advised both public and private company clients of the law firm on capital raising, M&A and other corporate finance and business related activities.
Justin Wiernasz / President of Innovative Food Holdings and Subs, Director
Mr. Wiernasz is the President of Innovative Food Holdings and subsidiaries. He has been President of the company since July 2008 and has over 25 years of experience on all levels of the food industry. Prior to this he was the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales and Chief Marketing Officer of our operating subsidiary, Food Innovations, Inc. Previously, Mr. Wiernasz was at U.S. Foodservice, our largest customer, for 13 years. He was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing in Boston.
Joel Gold / Independent Director
Mr. Gold has been a director for over 10 years. Mr. Gold is currently an investment Banker at Buckman and Reid located in New Jersey, a position he has held since May 2010. Additionally Mr. Gold is currently a director, and serves on the Audit and Compensation Committees, of Geneva Financial Corp., a publicly held specialty, consumer finance company. Prior there to, from October 2004, he was head of investment banking of Andrew Garrett, Inc. From January 2000 until September 2004, he served as Executive Vice President of Investment Banking of Berry Shino Securities, Inc., an investment banking firm also located in New York City. Mr. Cohen also held various positions with Solid Capital Markets, Interbank Capital Group, LLC, LT Lawrence & Co., Fechtor Detwiler & Co., Inc., Furman Selz Incorporated, Bear Stearns, and Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc.
Hank Cohn / Independent Director
Mr. Cohn has been a director since October 29, 2010. Mr. Cohn is currently CEO of P1 Billing, LLC, a revenue cycle management services provider to ambulatory medical clinics. P1 Billing is a spinoff of PracticeOne Inc., (formerly PracticeXpert, Inc., an OTCBB traded company), an integrated PMS and EMR software and services company for physicians. Mr. Cohn served as President and Chief Executive Ofﬁcer of PracticeOne from December 2009 until December 2009, at which time he sold the company to Francison Partners, one of the largest, global technology focused, private equity ﬁrms in Silicon Valley. Mr. Cohn also served as the executive vice president of Galaxy Ventures, LLC a closely-held investment fund concentrating in the areas of bond trading and early stage technology investments, where he acted as portfolio manager for investments.
Nathaniel Klein / INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
Mr. Klein is a Vice President and a member of the founding team at North American Lithium (NAL). NAL owns and operates the Quebec Lithium project located in La Corne, Quebec, Canada, in which over $400 million has been invested and is in the process of become a leading lithium producer. From November 2008 until joining NAL in September 2016, Mr. Klein was a Vice President at Hale Capital Partners (HCP), a private equity and venture capital firm that focuses on providing value added growth equity and turnaround capital to public and private, lower middle market companies. At HCP, Mr. Klein was responsible for leading all aspects of the investment process. In addition, Mr. Klein worked closely with the management of HCP portfolio companies including, serving on behalf of HCP, as a board member or as a board observer for several portfolio companies. Prior to joining HCP, Mr. Klein was an Associate for Highbridge Capital Management, a multi-billion-dollar, multi-strategy fund owned by JPMorgan Chase, where he focused on structured finance transactions and Special Situations.
